ZUNI HAND CRAFTED COPPER, MALACHITE AND LAPIS LAZULI NECKLACEMalachite and lapis lazuli are the perfect stones to showcase this hand wrought copper medallion necklace created by Zuni artisan Lawrence Ohmsatte. The necklace is 20\" long, or 22\" long with the madallion, and strung on coated fox tail wire. It is comprised of alternating groups of polished rich green malachite and deep blue lapis lazuli stones, each very complimentary of the other. The medallion is 1.5\" in diameter, is hand tooled with sun bursts and has two center cutouts. A brass and copper hand crafted feather hangs from one of the center cutouts and drops beneath the medallion (which actually could be representative of a shield). The bale is a hand twisted copper wire which securely affixes the medallion to the main necklace and a brass hook and eye is used for closure.
