Welcome!

I\'m offering for your consideration a fabulous covered wagon bolo by Vincent Dishta Jr and his wife, Marvina Dishta. This is so wonderful in every respect that you just won\'t believe it when you see it in person. The mother of pearl is so translucent and so reflective and the turquoise inlaid in the traditional Dishta family manner, is a gorgeous celadon gray blue green color. There is also coral inlay and the wagon wheels on the tips are fully articulated; they turn around freely and fully. This is a top notch, best quality, piece which is exactly illustrated in Schaaf\'s second biographies book. It\'s a wonderful and rare treat to see it and to own it is amazing.

The dimensions of the bolo are 2-1/2\" (6.35 cm) in diameter. It is inlaid with a three dimensional covered wagon, a frame in mother of pearl and turquoise and it has a horseshoe under the wagon, and an inlaid coral V (I think for Victor) above the wagon. The tips are overall 3\" (7.62 cm) high, with the inlaid wheel portion being 1\"(2.54 cm) x 7/8\" (2.22 cm). The sides of the dangles have inlay of turquoise, too and as I mentioned, the wheels are fully articulated. The tie is still in great shape and it measures 40\" (101.60 cm) end to end with the tips included.

This is a museum quality, amazing, bolo. Vincent Dishta Jr. is the grandson of Frank and Pauline Dishta and the son of Vincent Dishta Jr. and the brother of Virgil Dishta Jr. His lineage as a silversmith is incredible. His wife, too! Marvina\'s maiden name was Lesansee!! You can\'t do any better for your collection than this piece This piece appears in Schaaf; it\'s a book piece. And it\'s truly extraordinary. I\'m sure you will love it; I do!
