Description

A fine metal box in what appears a gunmetal finish inlaid with fine silver foliate designs tp the lid, the face and sides have a simple rondal decoration, the base appears to have a later felt fixed to protect the surface below.

The box measures approx 5\" x 3.1/2\" x 1.1/2\" and is in fine condition , the inner base has a paper liner.and appears to have held Tobacco or similar., the weight 474 grams approx.

The inside could do with a wipe with a oiled rag but as it may be used for cigarettes / cigars i have left it as found.
