Very large, heavy nice cut glass vanity jar with original silverplate and celluloid lid.Heavy at 2 pounds 1.3 ounces unpacked weight.
Base alone weight is 1 pound 13 oz.Approximately 5 5/8\" tall with lid, 5\" tall without lid.
Base is 4\" x 4\".
Lid is approximately 4 5/8\" in diameter.Glass base is in really good antique condition.
Lid is original to the vase, fits tight but has a lot of wear and some dents and dings and most all of the paint or coloring on the celluloid, faux ivory lid is long gone. Lightly embossed pattern.
No makers mark found.Found in historic Albany, Oregon several years ago.Many uses. I have used it for button storage.We overpack. Made the way furniture should be made, one piece at a time.
