antique bronze clad bookends, buffalo, bison, circa 1920, western, :
$525.00
- Here is a great set for western and buffalo bison collectors.
- Circa 1920
- A few months ago an identical pair sold on for $600. They were advertised as being by Kathodian Bronze Works. Like that set, these have no markings. So I cannot make definitive representation as to manufactured these. But I pretty certain they are not be Kathodian Bronze.
- They are the largest bronze clad buffalo bookends I have seen other than the Krupka pair that we sold last month. The last photo is of this pair with the huge Krupka pair behind them.
- The patina is great.
- These bookends are very large. They are 6-1/4 inches tall, 9-1/2 inches long and 2-3/4 inches wide. The pair weigh 6 pounds 8 ounces.
- The condition is very good with not breaks in the cladding and just a couple of small dings.
- See photos. The pictures tell the story.
- New felts
- Shipping is $22 including insurance.
