Up for sale is an antique japanese bronze. It measures 15 inches across 9 inches deep and almost 9 inches tall. This is as good as it gets due to it\'s subject matter. I struggled to find this mark but I was able to find similar marks which would date this around 1820 but to be safe I would say 1860 at the very latest. each of the fishermen have a small portion of there pointer fingers missing which is the only real issue I can see on the bronze. This is the finest japanese bronze I could find anywhere at any price and should clean up as I can see no corrosion on the bronze. Really this is so overwhelming to look at in person it is truly better up close. I was told this is worth 7000 to 10000 at sale and Christie\'s sold a single man killing a octopus for double the low estimate of my bronze and it was overall smaller than this one here.
