this is an extremely rare antique ornate solid bronze vanity hand mirror from the second half of the 18th century.it is extremely ornate with stunning detailing in the shape of a domed shell with a wavy edge.and has a stylized floral patterned handle on both sides.it is made from very thick material and is a heavy piece.the patina of age is absolutely stunningthere are little knobs on the face of the piece to rest on a flat surface without scratching the mirror.the mirror is missing but being hundreds of years old it is expected to be missing.there is gorgeous bronze roping wrapping the edge of where the mirror would sit.it is in good antique shape and measures 9 by 4 3/4 inchesextremely rare mirror.
