this sale is for an antique style painting of Thomas Clarke by Kevin Moody. the frame is 27.5 inches by 23.5 inches . the painting is 24 inches by 20 inches. signed lower right corner Kevin Moody 66. this is apparently an ancestor of Howell Thomas Heflin (1921-2005) , long time senator from Alabama. good victorian style walnut wood frame with gold liner. craquelure in the painting of the green overcoat and the dark portions of the hair. painting is on canvas on pine stretcher . minor nicks to wood frame. no damage to the canvas or paint.
