Description: This is amagnificent large Austrian Bergman bronze of a magpie. It has been beautifully modeled by the Master of cold painted bronzes, Franz Bergman (1898-1963) and is in very good antique condition. There are some losses to the paint and scratches typical for this type of Austrian bronze. The photos will showits condition. It is hallmarked with the Bergman vase stamp, the Serial or Model #1229 and \"Geschutzt\" or Patent.A similar figurine of a Bergman bronze magpiesold for $7,096 in 2011 at a well-known sale house.
