Antique c.1930\'s Grandmother\'s Flower Garden pattern quilt is pieced from all cotton fabrics - period prints for the petals,golden yellowsolid for the centers and white for the background. The piecing is done ina combination of hand and machine stitching. The backing is lavender cotton fabric and the batting is thin. The quilting is nicely down by hand - stitch count is approx. 12 - 14 stitches per inch. This quilt measures approx. 82 x 84 inches and is in great condition. It has been laundered and is very lightly faded - no stains, noticeable discoloration or damage.
