Description:

An antique black lacquered papier mache table snuff box of pressed ribbed oval form, dating to the late 18th or early 19th Century, circa 1800.

The lid and base of the box is pressed into a sunburst pattern around a central roundel, with sides with vertical ribbed pattern to match. The hinged lid opens and closes easily.

Dimensions:

Width: 5.8cm or 2 1/4 inches

Depth: 4cm or 1 9/16 inches

Height:2.1 cm or 7/8 inch

Condition:

In good antique condition, with wear commensurate with age and use. Please see the images provided which complement this description.
