Description:

An interesting and scarce antique King George III silver oval engraved presentation medal plaque, set within alateroval paste mount. The presentation inscription reads \'Presented by the members of The Lodge of United Strength to Br. Brice McGregor P.M&T, As a Tribute of Gratitude and a memorial of Mc????, April 14 A.D. 182?\'

The paste set mount has obscured some of the engraved lettering, including the date however the 182 of the year is clearly decipherable.The brooch is lacking its pin to clasp to the back. Whilst it is not hallmarked it tests as silver.

Dimensions:

Height: 6.3 cm or 2 1/4 inches

Condition:

In fair condition with absent pin to clasp, glass cover and wear to the plaque. Please see the images provided which complement this description.
