Description:

A superb pair of antique Georgian/Regency Old SheffieldPlate small coasters with turned wooden bases. The matching coasters have slightly bulging sides, and finely decorated gadrooned borders.There is no makers mark, and they date to the early to mid 19th Century, circa 1830.

The coasters are too small for a bottle and would have been used to hold a wine glass. The silver plate is showing blushing to the sides revealing the copper base metal.

Condition:

In good to fair condition given its age, with no damage but blushing to the plate. Please see the images provided which complement this description.
