The works collected within include Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained, Comus, Lycidas and many more. Highly decorative Victorian stylized leather spine and boards with blind Renaissance imitation designs/beveled edges on both covers, the spine also with blind decorated compartments, raised bands, and gilt titling. The gilt page edges are stamped in an intricately detailed gauffered design, as shown- a truly striking specimen with light external wear, gilt still shining. Hinges and binding firm; pages with some browning, a little toned and a few small stains; the last 4 or 5 leaves with a tiny bit of worming at the lower corner. Inscribed on front EP , else unmarked. Remains a striking shelf presence nonetheless; a true beauty. Book measures roughly 6.75\" x 4.25\" x 1.5\". Good luck!
