c1900 German JUGENDSTIL/ Art Nouveau sterling silver and amethyst pendant:

This is a beautiful German Jugendstil / Art Nouveau pendant which I believe dates to approx. 1900. It is a very Jugendstil design with a fluted mount and an amethyst stone at the centre of the sterling silver design. There is also a small dangler with a sort of wheel / flower design on it.

As is typical for Jugendstil, there are both curved lines and angular more geometric lines in the design...very, very pretty.

It measures as approx. 5.3cm in height, including the bale, and 2cm wide. I believe it to be German in origin but am unable to see any marks on the pendant to confirm this.
