A charming children\'s book of verse about ducks that go fox-hunting.
The book tells the story of the Gissyquack ducks and geese who are bored at home in the parlour and decide to go hunting, ending eventually in the death of Mr. Fox.
With striking full page colour illustrations throughout.
Inscription to front free endpaper, reading \'To Billy with love from Cousin Sassie, Xmas 1926.\'

Very scarce.
CONDITION
In a quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, a trifle rubbed with some heavier wear to the edges and corners. The cream boards are a little marked and discoloured, as one expects from a children\'s book of this age. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some handling marks and children\'s colouring to be found here and there.
Overall: GOOD.
