This Photostat model was made at the Disney Studio during production of Snow White and the seven Dwarfs and it was issued to animators for their use in drawing of animated characters.
Since the early 1930’s the Disney Studio has produced model sheets of its animated characters for circulation among artists and animators working in production of an animated film.
Before the 1970’s they were reproduced by a printing press.
They were made when a character was in development and used by the animators to assure continuity.

has the Disney markings in the lower right and has been okayed by animator HARRY BAILEY in the lower left.
