highly decorative 19thc MARBLE GILT FRAME with portrait of a young edwardian boy:

Stunning frame cherubs, owls, greek goddesses,half moon, cockerel, almost sure marble/gilt
Portrait looks to be on glass there\'s plenty of paint in there but maybe overpainted photography signed bottom right what looks to be Mowll & Morrissey may mean something to someone I\'ve haven\'t come across them.
Would think frame older than the portrait.
Slight crack bottom right of frame but to be expected for its age.
Back needs a new clip at top.
Size with frame 18 inches high by 16 inches wide.
