Up for sale is a modern hand carved HOBONICKEL titled \"PUNISHER\" by artist Buzzardjaws.Just in time for Christmas.The host coin is2005 Bison-Backnickel.Buzz likes to use these coinsin his carvingto keep alive the old traition of hobo nickels being carved on a coin with a buffalo on the back. This coin isamazingly carved withgood detailsand nicely finished. Buzzardjaws is a carving member of the \"Original Hobo Nickel Society\" (RM# 1430) anduses only hammer and chisel techniques and hand pushin his carving, no power tools, no microscopes. Using only the same type of tools used by the old time hobos, fashioned from masonry nails, he strives to keep alive the old hobo carving tradition of using only \"a nickel and a nail\" in his work. When you by one of his coins, you are getting a hobo nickel that is as close to being made the \"old traditional\" way as possible. Thecoin is signed on the obverse with \"Buzz\", as are all coins carved by Buzzardjaws. This coin wouldlook especially nice mountedin a bezel and necklace.
