Arthur Guptill was a master of the pen. He didn't write books, he made fine art. His book is filled with 1000s of examples. Some are full page renderings. Some are tiny, perfect studies of very complicated subjects. He seemed equally comfortable with the still-life and scenic The book also contains studies of a single subject showing many different techniques, hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, washes, etc. For the ink artist, I can think of no better book to own. If you are fortunate enough to find a copy of his original volume, don't pass it up. But since that is a very hard to find book, I recommend that you buy and keep this excellent book in your personal art library. I have both and would not part with either of them. Thank you for reading my guide.
Timely and as described.

Actually, I have not had a chance to look through this book in detail. By just skimming through the pages, it looks like what I was looking for. I am a new Interior Decorator and want to learn how to render room layouts for my clients. When I was comparing it with other available books, I thought this one looked like it had the most information to offer.
