I absolutely love my adventures of the Black Stallion. It is pure absurdity in motion. Everyday the beautiful, nearly undefeated Arabian causes trouble and mayhem in the lives of Alec (his owner, who was previously stranded on a deserted island with) and friends. The Black (as they call him), rarely helps anyone in these cartoonishly over the top situations. From surviving a multitude of kidnappings, Arab sheikh assaults, gangster beat downs, a hailstorm of bullets in a ghost town, and federal corruption scandals, one can instantly see how easy it is to fall in love with a loud mouthed teen and his utterly useless horse. Every situation only gets worse because of Black Stallion. Only through the magic of television and contrived scripting does the show pull through. The Black Stallion is a beautiful specimen of Arabian race horse saved from burgerdom and Elmer's product line. Enjoy this collection for its breathtaking country side footage and wild horse montages. Do not expect Francis Ford Coppola or any sort of thespian achievement.Read full review

This is a wonderful show. If your a Horse lover then this is the show for you! This Series shows Beautiful scenes of Horses and Race Tracks. It also stars two Wonderful actors. Richard Ian Cox (Inuyasha) and Mickey Rooney (The Black Stallion Movie). Its a must get!
Poor acting, unimaginable plot, nothing like the movie, ever episode ends with a stupid joke that make no sense and the whole cast laughing, the french people are not even really french, the whole thing is ridiculous, its what my sister wanted though so maybe good for confused kids?
I loved the movies and I remember the series from the old Family Channel, so I had to have it. I'm very impressed with the show, it is just as I remember it. I am very pleased and wait for future seasons.
