The Fireworks Machine at Walt Disney World has blown apart, and its pieces are scattered throughout thirteen of the rides at the park. Of course, the rides are now racetracks, and it's up to you to maneuver your go-kart through popular attractions like Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, and the Test Track at Epcot. Play as Chip, Dale, and ten other brand new Disney characters, as well as the eminently helpful Jiminy Cricket.

Walt Disney World Quest Magical Racing Tour boasts more playable characters than any kart racer before it (a total of 13 are offered), and each of the game's tracks allows you to maneuver a different vehicle. Instead of being confined to just a go-kart, you'll get a bobsled, or a rocket ship, and several others. Collect a myriad of power-ups to your vehicle such as Mickey coins which allow you to race a little faster with each additional coin you collect. Or use the guided bottle rocket to get a speed boost and home in on your opponent. You can also collect items that can be used against your opponents like the frog spell, which will leave them hopping in your dust. Or launch an acorn at them and send them flying out of control.

Magical Racing Tour also features a VS mode where you can challenge a friend (or enemy) to sudden death, go-kart style. Zip around 13 different arenas, collecting weapons and power-ups to obliterate your neighbor. The Time Trial mode allows you to familiarize yourself with each of the tracks without other competitors, while you race against the clock.

Stuck at any point? Jiminy Cricket not only provides much of the narration on your quest, but he also dispenses racing tips free of charge.

One of the best games ever.
If you love Disneyland/Disney World and/or Kart Racing games, this is a must. This game is just as good as any Kart racer game, and in my opinion, even better. You have 13 levels (3 of them being collect coin levels) that go across all 4 parks at the Walt Disney World Resort including: Magic Kingdom: The Haunted Mansion - A great level, with wonderful detail, great likeness of the ride. The Pirates of the Caribbean- Takes you through a lot of the events of the ride, with a wonderfully detailed town scene Space Mountain- Captures the essence of the ride pretty well, including the classic (original) Space Mountain track if you miss it. Though I don't know if the Space Mountains out of Disneyland have a new track or not. Splash Mountain - One of the game's best, taking you through the events of the ride, with a finale down the briar patch. As well as the Jungle Cruise, Tomorrowland Speedway (similar to autopa), Thunder Mountain (one of the game's best levels) I haven't been to Disney World, so I can't comment on the levels out of the Magic Kingdom's likeness to hte real thing, but I can say that they're fun to race in. Each level is filled with short cuts. The computers can be frustrating sometimes. The dreamcast version is significantly easier than the playstation version. The Karts handle like a dream. Much better than Mario Kart or CTR (Which I am a big fan of). The characters (save jiminy cricket, chip, and dale) are all original characters which suit the rides and disney theme very well. The music is great, taken directly from the rides. I'm not into graphics, but the Dreamcast version looks better than the Playstation one. I've owned this game since the year 2000 and I still play it weekly improving my Time trial times, replaying adventure mode, and playing Versus mode with friends and family. I strongly recommend this game.Read full review

Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour
Everyone knows that beautiful fireworks displays illuminate the skies over the Walt Disney World Resort. But did you know that it's all run by an enormous, amazing contraption - the Fireworks Machine. But those inquisitive chipmunks, Chip 'n Dale, have accidentally caused the machine to explode -- if they don't put the machine back together before the end of the day, there won't be any fireworks shows! Chip's idea is to race around Walt Disney World Resort and collect all the pieces of the Fireworks Machine. If they get some friends to help too, they could find all the parts and put the machine back together in no time! You'll be speeding around 13 raceways based on popular Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Water Parks, including famous attractions like Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and The Jungle Cruise!Read full review

Disney magical racing tour
Hav'nt play it,but my kids have and they like everything Disney...So on that note, by judging from there bodylanguage, looks like this one is a keeper. 64
