Secret of Shadow Ranch is a prime example of great Nancy Drew stories. It contains a solid story line with romance, lost treasure, western lore, and of course a ghost horse. In my opinion, this is the very best Nancy Drew story ever written plot wise. The story is gripping and fun; every age will love this story. If you're an old-time Nancy Drew fan or not sure who she is, I would definitely recommend buying this story. It's definitely worth it.

As a teenager growing up in the 50's and 60's I read almost all of the Nancy Drew Mystery series and loved the books. I do not know what happened to my collection but wanted to start a new "old" set I love the fact that I am able to find the origional blue tweed hard cover books that are in such good condition. I want my granddaughter to enjoy them as I did. I just love a good mystery and Carolyn Keen did a wonderful job designed for young women.
I bought this bok for my daudhter who was turning eleven. She loves this book. It has enough intrigue and suspense to satisfy thoae pre-teen years.
