Excellent beginner's book.
I only gave this 4 stars because it wasn't what I thought it would be but that's my fault. This book has lots of info and recipes along with identification of different herbs and how to use them. It is an excellent book for a beginner who wants a small herb garden since it does give lots of info but was hoping for more on the herbs. I love to cook AND garden and plan to enlarge my herb garden this year to be able to share more of my crop. The book will make a good addition to my home reference library.

very good, has lots of info, great pics, i like it!!!
This book has lots of herbal information and recipes in it. The pictures are very good and clear. It gives the history, usage, etc on each of the herbs it lists. I am very happy with this book and I think anyone who likes to cook with herbs or use herbs for medicinal purposes will find this extremely useful.

The Complete Book of Herbs
It was a good book it tells you most the things you need about herbs such as harvesting, and growing. However, its not really up to date with 2010 and I would love to start doing a Hydroponic Herb Garden, but this book mentions nothing of it.
