If you're buying the series then you know how good the series is. This box set is great. The only negative I can comment on is the way the episodes with extra content is organized. Make sure to check the episode after before watching if you want to watch the episodes with extra content.

I have bought both the American release and the UK blu ray release. Both sets are identical in content for the exception of getting a toy cylon from the American release. The UK release is much better because it's 60 dollars cheaper , and discs are protected in real Blu Ray cases. The US release has sleeves, which overtime can get dingy and destroyed easily. I for one prefer the UK release as it's much better packaged and no frills for a Cylon toy. Needless to say I sold the USA version, and kept the UK.

One of the decades best tv shows ! The new battlestar is far superior to the original series. 50,000 people survive the Cylon massacre of the 13 colonies. Their journey across the galaxy in search of earth is filled with fear, and paranoia as the survivors realize the cylons are not only following them , but also have Cylon humanoids hiding among them. Blu Ray quality here is excellent , although there is occasionally a little grain present in some scenes. It's definitely worth buying , the series is outstanding.
