This is Yaplah's very first review of an item Yaplah has bought through ebay. Please learning to forgive Yaplah if review is seems broken English grammar. Yaplah's first language is not English. First language is Yaplah language. So when Yaplah speak, Yaplah speaks in Yaplah languange, are you understand? Okay. Here are we go! (It is safer for Yaplah to speak to friend who is very professional at English language. That is called the dictation? So Yaplah is talk to friend who are listen to Yaplah and friend is to are type. Okay, here are Yaplah friend! (Transcribed by Yaplah's friend, Willis) This case made for the Syma X5 series of quadcopters is a must have for owners of any of Syma's successful quadcopters who need not only a storage solution for keeping their expensive quadcopters safe but also easily transportable. As a hard, suitcase type of case, the company who produces these (unknown) have made not only an affordable storage / transport case but a nice looking one at that. The main surfaces of the outside are of a glossy finish, with what looks to be black colored glitter material, similar to visual effect you would find on a glittered vinyl sticker. Very eye-catching. The locking latches work flawlessly and keep the case closed as your transport your X5 around. Inside the case is even more impressive. From the durable, die-cut foam on the bottom part to the very soft textured foam on the top, this case definitely states "custom made". The foam is the exact same type of foam used in firearms / camera equipment cases and is surprisingly built well enough to keep not only the X5 protected but various accessories as well. As you can see in lots of the stock photos, the X5 quadcopter series can stow away in it's specifically cut foam cavity with the prop guards attached. If you want the X5 to sit deepet into the case, removal of the prop guards will allow the main body to sit in further, with the props barely touching the foam. Full removal of the props will allow the X5 main body to securely fit all the way into the cavity, firmly keeping the main body intact from shock and accidental ejection. As for the accessory cavities, you can effectively store an extra set of 4 - 2-blade props, a 2MP camera attachment, a set of 5 spare batteries (the smaller 500 mAh ones will fit in all of the 'battery size' cavities but only the 4 larger cavities will be able to accommodate the larger 1000+ mAh size batteries due to their increased size.), a radio transmitter, a cell phone mount (which attaches to the radio transmitter), a multi-battery charger, a set of 4 landing gear legs, a small screwdriver (usually used to remove / attach screws to various parts of the X5 series such as prop guards, landing gear legs, etc.) and a couple of USB charging wires for the batteries. Really though, you can decide what you can fit in the accessory cavities but those above mentioned items are the standard set of items you should probably have if you decide to stow away your X5 in this case. If you want to store the prop guards, you have to keep them attached to the X5 main body as there are no real cavities that are big enough to accommodate them. The foam keeps all of the accessories secure. If items come free and begin to bounce around inside the case during transport, the easiest solution is to crumple up a paper towel and tear it to the size of the cavity that needs to be covered. This usually only occurs with parts that do not fit snug into the cavities such as props and landing gear legs. Another solution would be to place them into small zipper style plastic bags, roll the plastic over them and then stuff them into their respective sized cavities. When the case is closed, things are pretty secured within as the foam on the top is soft enough to shape itself around whatever it's on top of. Soft, pliable and durable. One of the secondary uses of the case is to use it as a "Helipad". Just place it on a leveled surface, even on the ground and use it as a launch pad for your X5 quadcopter. Since the outer surface is smooth and glossy (which unfortunately is very susceptible to having fingerprints left on it if you handle it with your bare hands), you can also put stickers on it if you wish. I plan on putting a large diameter "H" with a circle around it to signify it as a "Helipad". Overall, a very useful and durable case to store your awesome X5 series quadcopter. Does double duty as a "Helipad" as well. You should be able to find it here on ebay for around $30. Anything more than $40 + shipping is still worth it but you should shop around and see if any sellers have it for that $30 price point. Highly recommended! ----------------------- Okay.
