Although this book is in the "Legends" of Star Wars the connection to the Star Wars Universe is strong! Learning more about Darth Plagueis fills in gaps that have not yet been written. James Luceno's writing creates vivid images and brings a level of connection to characters in an entirely new way. I truly felt a heart pounding need to see where the story went, despite knowing the outcome via the movies. A must have must read for any Star Wars fan.

I first heard about this book from the internet and I decided to check it out from my local library. I enjoyed reading it very much. It was a good story. So I decided to purchase a copy for myself to keep. I like to collect hardcover books especially Star Wars ones. (Just to clear things up, I purchased the Hardcover Edition and not the Paperback.)
