We had more mosquitoes than usual this year a a friend recommended this product for our stock water tanks. Placed a dunk in each of 9 water tanks and there has been a noticeable reduction in mosquito numbers in the last month. I tied each dunk to a large metal washer (so it would sink) as the horses tend to play with them when they float. The dunks are pretty fragile when dry and small pieces tend to fall off if bumped or scraped. After placing in the water they appear to stay together really well.

They appear to work. The more buckets you set out the less skeeters you have. I well never be rid of them as I have A several acre swamp across the road from me but they do seem to help. Just be sure to add at least 1/2 of A dunk approximately every 30 day's to each bucket and keep the buckets 1/2 full of nice swampy water. There cheap enough so that several can be used every month and even if only 1/4th of the total are insects eliminated that's getting rid of potential equine encephalitis carrier's.

We've used Mosquito Dunks for years with great results in the pond and elsewhere. This is the first time I have seen a twenty count package. Thanks

Fantastic! Works as stated. I have a rain barrell collection system I use to water my garden and was having a terrible time with mosquitoes using the water for a nursery. I followed the instructions for use and within a day and a half the water in the barrels is clear, no larva, only a few dead adults! I definately reccomend this product!

Non-poisonous but works perfectly on my water barrels and ponds. No mosquitoes ever but does not harm plants or fish. I cut them into 1/4's for small water areas; they last a month or so.
