This is an odd mix for a compilation but it works for me! A nice cross-section of Dead tunes. Killer versions of High Time, St Stephen and Black Peter. Plus a lot of other good songs as well that can be found on the various Grateful Dead studio albums. There is also a short freaky version of Dark Star that can be found nowhere else (as far as I know). I also really like Doin' that Rag. Bottom-line, if you want to carry a nice mix of Dead tunes around in one case, this would be what you are looking for.
What's not to love about the Grateful Dead? It was only 1 CD not 2. I wanted the disc with Sugaree on it as I thought that's what I bought but that song was not on this disc.

What can I say ...I have been a dead head for many years and I have the LP of the original...I wanted the CD since it would be so easy rather than trying to convert the lp to mp3 format. I love the collection of songsand, for 2 cd's its a great price.
