The History Channel does a wonderful job with these documentaries. I've several of them. They bring historic figures to life using archival documents, photographs, etc. in combination with present historians, archeologists, and reenactors to recreate what probably happened at that time. For anyone who doesn't know about Sherman, this is a wonderful overview of his life in and out of the military, and specifically his "whole war" march through Georgia and South Carolina. In this presention, even Sherman affcionados may even learn a new thing or two. Excellent Sherman DVD.

I've seen this on the History channel previously and it was excellent. Just watched the video I recieved from this seller and enjoyed it even more than the first time I saw this video. Excellent movie that helps teach some history on the civil war... and one of the great generals and his men that helped bring it to an end.
