SG1.. where we bond with the characters over many seasons as much or more than we did with "Gunsmoke". Unique challenges face the members of this elite force..over and over throughout their many episodes. But, this season takes a little side jaunt to more light hearted episodes..including my fav, the Space Race, with Major Carter as a "co-pilot" for an Alien entrant to the special challenge!

Any fan of the show would like to catch the shows missed during the season and avoid the outdated commercials. These gift sets are just the ticket. You get every episode sans commercials, interviews with the various stars of the show, director's comments on several of the episodes (Very interesting and informative!!) and printable pictures! Stargate is one of the best TV shows of all time in my book! It is starting its 10th season and they are planning a movie! we have not seen a TV show like this since the Star Trek Series! This is truly a classic TV show! Richard Dean Anderson (Col. Jack O'Neill)is hilarious in this season! RDA IS Stargate! The very beautiful Amanda Tapping (Major Samantha Carter), Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson, back by popular demand!), and Christopher Judge (Teal'c)are all exellent in every episode! Don't miss this set!

Let's get down to brass tacks. There will be a copy of this same review for every season since I bought the complete 8 season set. (I also just just bought SG Atlantis Season 1.) ALL the seasons, transfers, and everything connected with this series are strictly FIRST RATE! DVD picture is far better than the average TV broadcast. In most cases you may find that the sound is noticeably better than you've heard it on TV also. This is simply one of the FINEST SERIES EVER! Pure FUN. Pure ENTERTAINMENT! Own it... Trust me! (I've never lied to you, have I?)
