Encyclopedia Brown videos (not in dvd that I know of) are hard to find now...I think there is a possibility of a feature movie in the works, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I bought 3 videos off of ebay to go along with the latest EB book being used by my elementary school for an all-school-read-along. The videos are live action from an old series that used to be on tv...very, very cute, but not always politically correct (the darling girl partner beats up the bully, instead of telling a responsible adult) I love these shows and I think kids will also.

for the intended ages of this film, the film is excellent. you use your imagination and use problem solving skills, which is fun, because your are trying to solve a mystery. encyclodia brown boy dectective is a fun film for all ages, because I'm sure we all can remember how it felt to find clues and solve a mystery...we all thought we were like sherlock holmes.
i always loved this as a kid and just had to buy it to bad its not on dvd cause that would be sooooooooo awesome but i can settle for video great kids movie
