Those who compare this album to the Kinks hit the nail on the head! And this is every bit as good as a Kinks album and in some ways even stranger than anything the Kinks ever did. That said (despite the retro vibe) there is an unexpected freshness to this CD. It blew me away the first time I heard it and it continues to get better and better with each listen. 5 Stars.
