The Black and Decker 3/8" 7190 is the best all around drill I have ever used. It's 0-1200 rpms is high enough to drill holes fast in metal or wood, yet low enough to be controlled for putting in screws. By adjusting the trigger button to the right speed, you can work all day without stripping out sheetmetal or breaking the screw in metal or wood. It's the perfect tool for putting on metal roofing where the screw has to be snug without rolling the neoprene washer. It's lightweight, economical, and never runs out of power. You will need a heavier drill for drilling large holes, or putting 3 1/2 " decking screws in hard wood. The engineers at Black and Decker did it right when they designed this drill. It's the best that was ever built and it hasn't been improved on.
Better than expected! A lot better than expected. Thank you!!!

It's a drill. Works well for any job I need it for. Mine is showing its age, but that speaks to its venerability.
