I like that it is cassette because I only have a cassette player in my car-old car no cd player yet. I like how the tape teaches beginners german. It also focuses on teaching german as if you were going to go visit germany instead of teaching everything there is to know. There are some things that a tourist does not need to know like grammar for instance. I am going to germany soon and I just wanted to learn a few things, lie how to ask for directions, or where the bathroom is and these tapes focus on just that. I was very well satisfied with the product. Although it is a bit out of date, afterall, it is a cassette version. But that should not matter at all for what it is teaching me and what I need to learn for when we travel over to germany.
