This program is a fabulous trip down memory lane for anyone who enjoys what music used to be. To see and hear your favorite surviving performers doing the songs that made them famous all those years ago is a real treat. The physical appearance may have changed, but the vocals and harmonies are as rich as ever. The vintage black-and-white clips are absolutely endearing. Obviously, the folks that would probably get the most enjoyment out of this disc are those from the over-55 set, however, it's still great entertainment for anyone who enjoys the sounds of real music. Hopefully, if anyone still has all these hit on their old 78 rpm records, you will remember how great these songs really were! It's like going to and Old Car Show and saying, "Hey, I used to have one of those!" On my personal scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this a 9.8.Read full review

This DVD is a step back into the Past. With memories that touch the heart string and connects you to a time when life was simple and great. You will be surprised at how wonderful these artist still sound. TJ Lubinsky has done it again. I own at least 11 of these PBS concerts. You will LOVE this DVD. Frank
Some of the songs were a little bit before my time. The recording and music were excellent. Saw the last 15 minutes on TV and decided to check eBay to see if I could get a copy at a reasonable price. I bought it right away. Seeing some of those old songs being sung by the original artists with an excellent back up orchestra gave me chills.
