The 3000 Lumens does a good job of throwing a 105" diagonal image, max zoom, from 12 feet (144") back. I am projecting in my living room onto a regular white painted wall. My living room has windows on three walls, but I still get a decent picture during the day. During the night... dang, I have to start by looking at some other part of the room and slowly swing my eyes inwards or I'll burn my corneas lol. Highly recommended for people who need a bright image and don't need widescreen - remember, you can still play widescreen, just adjust the image to the top edge and scroll the screen up if you have one, assuming you even care about such a cosmetic thing as the image fitting the screen(easy on a computer via MPC or VLC, no clue how to do it on anything else).
I purchased for parts, and it gave me what i needed for the one that i had.
