Eddie and the Cruisers II (Eddie Lives!) is absolutely one sequel that is much better than the original picture. (One must also see the original EDDIE AND THE CRUISERS to really appreciate the second.) Michael Pare as the lead character is perfect for his role. The music in this movie as with the first--actually performed by John Cafferty and his band--is fabulous!! (It has a Springsteen likeness to it.) By the way, the lip-sincing by the actors in Eddie's bands is perfect; it appears the actors are actually performing the music. I like the story and I believe you will, too. I forgive you, too, Eddie. Thanks for a great show.
AFTER SEACHING FOR THIS MOVIE IN NEW CONDITION FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. I THOUGHT THAT I HAD FOUND IT FINALLY BUT WHAT I RECIEVED WAS FAR FROM NEW CONDITION BUT DISPITE THAT IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN EDDDIE AND THE CRUISERS 1 OR 2 EDDIE LIVES YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK THEM OUT. A REALLY GREAT STORY LINE, EXCELLANT MUSIC AND A REAL HEART WARMING ENDING WITH A BIT OF DRAMA. SOME OLDER STARS IN THE CAST AND A FEW THAT WENT TO THE BIG TIME. IT REALLY IS A GOOD FILM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AS WELL. JUST BEWARE! THERE ARE SOME DRUG REFERENCES BUT NOTHING TOO RACEY FOR TODAYS TEENS. I RECOMMEND THIS FILM TO ANY ONE WHO LIKED FILMS SUCH AS DRUMLINE, STOMP THE YARD,SCHOOL OF ROCK,AND SIMILAR FILMS OF THAT NATURE.
