I am a 48 year old male. I bought this album back in the day (1979) and loved it. I am looking for the albums of my youth in CD form. (midlife crisis?) Pat Benatar was a rock goddess who paved the way for alot of female talent to come forward. The songs on this, her debut album, have great melodic inventions and are very well written. Pat Benatar is in powerful,rich form here. Her voice at times breath taking. We played that 33 rpm record so many times and knew the songs by heart as that turntable spun round and round.. This CD brings back many of those great memories. Thanks Miss Benatar, you truly rocked!
