In 1976, the U.S. Mint at Denver produced Eisenhower Dollars with two different reverses. Type 1 has thicker letters while Type 2 has thinner letters. Both types are very common, but the Type 1 is not as common as the Type 2. Superb (MS67) examples of both types are elusive.
The bi-centennial coins are a set of coins that very few people collect. The Gold plated ones are rare to collect.
