The 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series on Nickelodeon celebrates everything from the start of the famous franchise, including epic bad guy Rahzar. The villain was first introduced in the 1991 video Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze. He is once again a villain, and a henchmen for Shredder. When Chris Bradford is exposed to mutagen, he first transforms into Dogpound, then again into Rahzar. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Rahzar figure is an accurate portrayal of Chris in his second transformation. This figure is roughly 5 inches in height and towers over the heroic Turtles. Rahzar is one of the tallest figures in the line, standing tall over even Shredder himself. Rahzar features five articulation points. His shoulders are on both a swivel and a hinge, letting you rotate them in all directions. You can pose his arms over his head or straight out to his sides. He features a swivel waist, letting you turn his body from side to side. This character also features hips on a combination swivel/hinge joint. These joints let you pose the figure in a variety of poses, such as sitting down or lunging. All of the joints are incredibly sturdy. Even after hours of play fighting the turtles, he will still hold a pose without falling over. In fact, his joints are so strong he can lift any of the halfshell heroes over his head. This TMNT Bradford character is also stable, with his flat feet ensuring he doesn't topple over on your shelf. Playmates Toys paid special attention to the sculpt of Bradford as this mutant. In the cartoon and video, Bradford resembles a werewolf, and that translates to the toy as well. He features slick, black fur with bone protrusions along his skin. This toy features an array of sculpted detail, from the fur on his head to his pointed toes. Two long horns add to this figure's intimidating look. This ensures that he stands out as a true villain among the Foot Clan led by Shredder. His eyes are painted in a sinister red color that convey the evil in his heart, and a set of sharp-looking teeth add to his ferocity. This TMNT toy uses high-quality ABS and PVC plastic in its construction. This high-quality plastic ensures that the toy can stand up to intense play sessions against the turtles. A high-quality sealant on this toy keeps the fine details preserved and prevents the paint from chipping or decaying over time. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Rahzar includes one accessory; a bony claw protrusion that he can shoot at the heroic characters. This accessory slides into the hole right above the character’s right hand. To shoot it, you just need to flick it with your finger to send it flying across the room. This bony missile can travel a few feet when fired.
