I bid on this item as any guy from this time would! I have 3 out of the 4 seasons on dvd anyway.... but a box set makes a way better idea! I am 33 and was giddy to open the box when it arrived. My 4 year old son love this show! (what can I say... I know he's mine!) from first look the box is great! open it and see a colection of dvd double packs all labeled with season and disc #'s.... Pop one in and find you some jiffy pop (or whatever you nibbled on back in the day), like any other dvd just hit play and watch the good ol' days of your fave shows! If you are a KR fan... this is a must have.... There is a surprise ON the box- I'll tell you what- my son will not let the box go! if the dvd's weren't enough they added a "scanner" on the bottom of the box that when the button is pressed, the scanner led's light up and go and the theme song plays!!! Having appreciated this series since forever, I was most pleased to acquire this comprehensive video codex for timelessly stimulating entertainment at one's leisure. Cruising in recently to The Haunted Noctuary is the Complete Knight Rider collection, which could also be veritably named The Ultimate Collection, and The Knight Rider Codex, for it is just perfection; and here is why: Every episode is preserved in this impressive attaché case-like sleek, glossy black box* shaped ever so slightly like the front end of KITT's front fender, complete with scanner, activated by pressing a button, which is accompanied by the theme. An overall futuristic impression. Already a gratifying experience which just gets better and better. The DVD's & cases themselves are presented in slim, elegant black splendor, whereupon engaging the main menu, snippets of the series play along with the characteristic scanner moving with ones selection. Full descriptions on back in digital font, framed by a computer chip like border. The episodes are crisp and clear, with great sound quality, Special features include interviews with cast and crew (The Hoff, series creator Glen A. Larson (who go at each other in an amusing repartee}, composer Don Peake, & stunt coordinator Andy Gill); an "owners manual" ("Autonomicon", detailing the various functions on KITT's interactive dashboard}; stills gallery, blueprints (of KITT, several sets, and The Knight Foundation Mansion, or the "Hassel Castle", for those so inclined; actually "Greystone"); and the forgettable film 'Knight Rider 2000' (which proves to be the "Addams Family Reunion" of this series). I loved the show back in the 80's and i love all these episodes too. How wonderful to be able to see them all again, it sure beats watching T.V., theres nothing worth watching anymore on t.v. it all garbage nothing morally clean is on anymore. How Very Sad! Gone are the days when t.v. was pure and had great morals for our young and old alike. I don't have cable and i don't even want it, and whats i can get with an antana isn't even worth watching. Knight Rider is a great TV series to watch with the kids. There is lots of action without the violence or gore and the good guys win using brains and innovation.

nice set to own love night rider so this makes any fan a great gift or something to put on the shelf to remember the high school days of watching tv with your friends or the laughs and good times of some one special in your life that you may have watched this series with jump on this band wagon its not just a ride its a time machine to your past and the rocking 80's when tv had real class and the shows pulled no punch's I love it.
