Couldn't Stand the Weather by Stevie Ray Vaughan is a true Texas Rock Classic!!! SRV guitar playing is legendary and he set the bar for Unique Rockabilly Blues. Trivia; Did you know Stevie played lead guitar on the David Bowie Song "Let's Dance"?
It is great for any fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan or anyone wanting to hear good music. It is a classic selection. It demonstrates his depth while appearing to enjoy what he did. I enjoyed the unrestrained and relaxed atmosphere. There are hits and b-sides together to provide more depth. Nothing to dislike here. There are 8 good tracks from the title song on to something less familiar like Tin Pan Alley. The only downside is that there are only 8 songs.
A most astonishing album of Stevie Ray Vaughan ever made. I'm a huge fan myself. It even compares very well with all the other albums and such of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
probably at his best here,a little more in depth than first cd.I got the gold cd for home use only and it is worth it with the right player and dac.
Just looking to add to my collection.....................................................................................................................................................
