Better than most
I got a pair of these to put on my nuCanoe track system. First, I much prefer the Scotty gear head track adapter with these holders compared to a ball mount. I've tried both and I think the gear head approach is better. I can position these anywhere on the track, point them any direction and solidly hold all of my rods whether a baitcaster or spinner. They can be easily locked down with a rubber stop and they are easily removed. The price was right for me too compared to other competitors. I will be using these from now on. Highly recommended.

Baitcaster/spinning rod holder
As Usual this manufacturer makes a quality product. I use this on my kayak. I bought this to relocate my center mounted rod holder to this one, because I can mount it on the gunnel in the track mount system. It works well with both my spinning reel and baitcasting reel. Works well for trolling or just when u need it to hold the rod during transport.
