This is excellent as there is a latch that serves as a deterrent to thieves but yet for me as a sales person , is easy to get into with n hassle of a key. Using in a senior building small store and with lots of sight problems, they ask for help. Works great!

The quality of the wood in the box is lacking. It's a soft type of wood which is very light in weight. I have purchase oak, cherry and walnut boxes in the past from other companies which were of much higher quality, but, of course, the prices for those boxes were significantly higher. I bought this box I've recently been unable to find the higher quality boxes. Now, in my case, I will not be able to actually use this box as the glass was shattered when I received it. Having said that, the glass in the box appeared to have been a good quality glass and the glass pane likely weighed more than the rest of the box.
