Be aware there is no apocrypha. With that said it is great to read. I love the original 1560 geneva edition but unfortunately I got hung up on the grammer. Although this bible is transcribed from the 1599 geneva edition all it takes is knowing the word "the" is used in place of the 1560s "that" in most places. This is a great resd and keeps my nose in the book far more that the niv. If i am strictly studying i do use the niv. Ty

I wanted to find out how Pilgrims thought of the Bible, my Grandmother was a Baptist and cut someone's name out of her Bible every time it was mentioned, I think it referred to Jesus as Emanuel but have to look at an old Bible to find out.
