the reds kit is easy to install , keeps the pop down on the excals. the reds keeps the same fps speed too. this add on help with sting life and also lets you know when string needs twisting or replacement. i did not notice any weight difference with these installed. woks great on both of my excalibur matrix crossbows, a great value and is functional and works!! worth every dollar!
