Worked perfect for me in an older Winfast 6100k8ma mother board. Running windows 7 on it with a 160 gig drive, 4 gigs of ram. My son uses it as his gaming machine for emulators. Had to tweak everything a bit, but this is a solid running CPU that has the power you need at a cheap price if you have an older socket 939 board.

It worked great. I got in this trouble by trying to clean the computer and fan and broke the original one taking it out and trying to put it back in. Course by the time I got the new one I was much more careful and it installed immediately and correctly. It worked first time and works great. I probably will not remove it for cleaning in the future! Once burned, twice sky!
Installed Windows 10 in an emachine had a 2.0Ghz processor. The upgrade to a 2.4 Ghz processor was a good upgrade and did notice the programs ran faster.
