This is book 3 of John Ringo's Ghost series about a former SEAL who acts as a mercenary for the US government. This book is a well written example of military fiction with good characterization and a taut plot. I have read all of the series and this book really sets up some of the series plotlines. The only thing I dislike both in this book and throughout the series is the author's fascination with the S & M scene.
Choosers of the Slain, third in the Ghost/Kildar series is a must read. If you enjoyed the first two, this, like all of his others keeps you interested from page 1. Not many books I can read in a day or two but this is one of them. Lots of action, high tech, revenge on the bad guys, zero tolerance for bureaucrats, great homebrew and scenery. Following this are two more excellent reads; Unto the Breach, and Deeper Blue, all story related. Collect the whole set!
great book. exciting. read others like this one so had to have this one. great series. really like john rongos books. very interesting.
