Mrs. Katz and Tush is an excellent example of generosity, opens doors to discuss a variety of issues such as ethnicticity, different religions (particularly Judai) and aging or just to read as a cute kids book. Great for ages 3 to 8 (older if discussing the Holocaust or religious or race differences in a non-hostile environment.) This is part of the series to study in Five In a Row. It was one of my daughter's favorites as she loves cats and kittens (a cat escaped from a widow's open window and friends found the cat which later had kittens).
Great story of compassion and love, no matter your race or religion.

I bought one for each of my siblings for Christmas. My Dad used to call my Mom 'Bubee' and 'Bubelah' and we didn't know until they passed that the names were terms of endearment. This book has both names in it and is a wonderful story.
